Houston Mouves Scholarship

                                                      “What Is Your Why?” Scholarship Essay Contest

Houston Mouves Scholarship is an annual essay contest for high school seniors who desire to attend a two or four-year college or university. At Houston Mouves, we help businesses grow and donate a portion of our proceeds to non-profit organizations, which help raise awareness to social issues while investing in education! As we wrap up in 2019, our desire is to invest in the life of a senior who desires to attend college. In order to choose the recipient of this year’s scholarship, we would like to hear about your “Why?” 

Eligibility: 

• Must write an essay entitled “What Is Your Why?”  
• Must have a minimum of 100 words not exceeding a maximum of 300  
• Must be a high school senior  
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0  
• Must have been accepted to a college or university Selection: After the application window has closed, the submissions will be reviewed & scored by the Scholarship Committee. The applicants with the highest scores will win the $500 scholarship. The winner will be announced via email, social media and at the Suits & Sneaker Scholarship Ball on November 22, 2019, at India House.
