V Cotton Club Scholarship Ball

Club Cotton Scholarship Ball is anticipated to be the most upscale Black History Month experience in Houston on February 24, 2024, from 8 pm-12 am at Five Central in room V6!

COME PARTY WITH A PURPOSE!

Proceeds will go towards our annual high school scholarship fund and charitable causes such as feeding the homeless.

Attire: Roaring 20s. We will give a prize to the best dressed!

Offerings:

• Live DJ playing non-stop dance, Trap, Top 80s, and 90’s R&B for guests to dance the night away!

• Hundreds of guests to meet

Guidelines:

• Event begins at 8 PM and ends at 12 AM

• 21+ with valid ID to enter. (Unfortunately, even if a parent is there.)

• Please make sure to have an ID that matches the purchaser's name.

• All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges for any reason.

“What Is Your Why?” Scholarship Essay Contest | Application Deadline: 2/9/24 | Amount: $500 (2)

Eligibility:

● Must write an essay entitled “What Is Your Why?”

● Must have a minimum of 100 words not exceeding a maximum of 300

● Must be a high school senior

● Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0

● Must have been accepted to a college or university

SELECTION: After the application window has closed, the submissions will be reviewed & scored by the Scholarship Committee. The applicants with the highest scores will win the $500 scholarship. The winner will be announced via email, social media, and at the 2024 Cotton Club Scholarship Ball on February 24, 2024, at Five Central, room V6!

By purchasing this ticket, I hereby authorize Houston Mouves to publish photographs and videos that may or may not be taken of me on the Cotton Club Scholarship Ball event for use in print, online and video-based marketing materials, social media, as well as company publications.
